When to go with the flow: Ever since I lay my eyes on this gorgeous  “Pow Pow” range of products, my heart skipped a beat. I knew instantly what my son’s next birthday party theme was going to be. What little 5 year old to -be could resist this charming theme?  Dressing up as cowboys and Indians with his mates and letting their imaginations run wild. Not to mention mummy’s!  This was going to be the coolest cutest party yet. Karen from Design K put together a gorgeous party mood board and the wheels were set in motion. 

Until a week before the big event when the little 5 year old to-be declared,  upon seeing the preps in full swing, “IM NOT HAVING A POW WOW PARTY” ummm WHAT?!  Granted  there were signs and even gentle, “I don’t really want a pow pow party”. Along the way :/  but mummy threw caution to the wind, telling herself. He will come around, little 5 year old to-be’s change their minds every 5 mintues. But not this little boy, when he said for the 5th week in a row. Im having a Paw Patrol party.

Mummy had to apply the emergency brakes, take notice and halt all those lavish plans.  

With one week to go, drastic measures were taken, and the party changed course to “Paw Patrol”. Luckily for this little boy, his mummy owns a party shop with Paw Patrol in stock..  She ordered the supplies online, with express next day delivery ;). The Cake was re-ordered, games were re-thought. Invites were re-made and Paw Patrol it was.   Now we have a happily just turned 5 year old! Who thinks he had the best party in town. Pow Wow has been shelved, who knows maybe it can be dusted off for his 6th birthday?! ;)
