To help you get ready for a creepy celebration, we have put together 5 easy DIY ideas on how to bag your candy in style this Halloween.  Halloween is the perfect time of year to try your hand at creating spooktacular Treat Bags, ready to hand out to the little trick or treaters out in full force come the 31st. Get your little ones involved and double the fun. They are not only easy to assemble but will look fantastic too. There are no hidden tricks, only treats with simple steps to fill these bags!

 TREAT CUPS

Select your favourite colour of cup and dress it up as a bat, monster or pumpkin! Stick on some googly eyes and use markers to complete your creation. For the full tutorial, click here.  We have a variety of paper cups available over on our website in solid colours, stripes, black with a marble effect or geometric patterns. Use your imagination and go wild here.

CHARACTER TREAT BOXES

With colourful cardstock and a bit of glue you can create these cute treat boxes in minutes. Want to make treat bags for the whole classroom at school?  It's super easy.  Try to do a single colour design as this will be easier to assemble. Remember that you will need to place your candy in a little plastic bag so that they don’t leave spots on your work of art.  Full tutorial available from here.

TREAT BAGS WITH FREE PRINTABLES

You can either use a patterned or solid colour treat bag. We have a wide selection of party bags available at Party Camel – from solid colours, to stripes and even scary skeleton hands! Once you have selected your treat bags, you will need to attach googly eyes. Print a Pumpkin Stem, Frankenstein Hair and Bat Wings all printables available from here. Once you have your printouts ready, cut and stick to create spooktacular characters!  Fill with candy and impress your friends!

PAPER GHOST FAVOUR BAGS

This is by far the easiest DIY project of all! These darling little paper ghost bags are perfect to hand out to your trick or treater’s, or to have at your Halloween party as favours or on your candy table.  They are so easy to make, all you need is white paper treat bags, some glue and small, medium or large googly eyes to attach, remember you can use different sizes and you don't need to stick straight  ;) . These little guys were created by Craft-O-Maniac and we just adore them!

HALLOWEEN POPPERS

An alternative spin on the classic treat bag that will make your treats pop is this easy to make tutorial on treat crackers! Decorate toilet paper tubes with colourful cardstock, googly eyes and decorate with markers. We have a beautiful Coral Chevron Roll Sheet that features a geometric pattern in coral pink if you want to cover your roll in something bright. Use tissue paper to wrap your candy, twist the ends and tie with twine. It's really as easy as this.  For the full tutorial, click here.  Most importantly remember to have fun with it all.  Happy Halloween party planning.
